My ethos can be summarised in three words – Fitness, Wellness, Wellbeing:
I have always had a keen interest in sports, and the health benefits that general fitness has to offer, using this as a release and de-stress from day-to-day work, family and social pressures. But I equally believe that fitness should be fun, engaging and motivating – with realistic goals that should make you feel energised and want to continue to be fit and healthy, both in body and mind.
I am a firm believer that not only is fitness and exercise an important ingredient for strength, endurance, conditioning, flexibility, body composition, weight loss…. the list goes on - but it also plays a part in feeling good about yourself, building routines, and making the right choices. This combination of fitness and wellness not only enables you to be fitter and more agile in your body, but in your mind also.
As a personal trainer, I am of course predominantly focus on the fitness side of wellbeing, but with a measured approach to wellness. Having discussed your goals and ambitions, our sessions will be focused on your development, with realistic targets, and a lot of fun, smiles and achievements along the way.
Whether your targets revolve around building strength, developing functional fitness skills, weight management, getting back to fitness, starting a fitness journey, or just trying something new for yourself – I can help you be accountable to reach your targets. Age and ability are no barrier, teens to seniors, fitness newbie to confident athlete….and everywhere in between!
